Lilly's New Thumb (literally)

So this is a picture of what Lilly's new thumb looks like, I say new because it has completely grown back! It's not a very good picture but was the best I could get with a squirmy girl. I was skeptical when the doctor told us that in about a months time it should be almost back to normal, but it is. We're so grateful that everything turned out fine. I was thinking after it had happened how much worse it could have been. If her thumb would have been in the door just a little farther, the damage could have been much worse... like missing fingers! I was also glad that Eric was home when it happened because I am not sure what I would have done if I were home alone. Taylee has been really good at keeping our new rule to not close the doors if anyone is by her. Because we still catch that Lilly putting her fingers in the crack of the door when its open. Taylee is the best at noticing this and comes screaming for me, "Mom, lilly-beast is her putting her fingers in the door again" (she calls her the lillybeast sometimes, I'm not sure how it got started) She will then lecture Lilly and tell her she is going to get her fingers chopped off and have to go the hospital again. Its kind of funny.
